Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Remove beef and set aside.
  • Add remaining oil to the skillet and cook broccoli for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Add garlic and ginger; cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water.
  • Return beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce.
  • Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

  • Extra veggies: Add bell peppers, carrots, or snap peas.
