- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1½ teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter optional, for richness

Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Rub chicken on both sides with olive oil, then coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
